Sarah Clarke

Sarah, the owner of Garvey Stags Field Hockey, has an extensive background in field hockey and education. Sarah has a Bsc (Hons) Sport & Recreation management degree from the prestigious The University of Edinburgh along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Strathclyde University. Sarah embarked on a successful teaching career in Independent schools in Scotland and England. She has continued her passion for teaching at the British International School of Boston.

Sarah’s field hockey journey commenced as a player at The Elms School, Colwall at Elementary school when she was six years old. Her love of the game continued through high school where she captained her school 1st XI to Midlands cup success. Sarah continued to play at College in the BUCS leagues for the University of Edinburgh.

Sarah’s love of the sport and willingness to give back to the sport which has given her so much is why Sarah wanted to create unique field hockey opportunities for players in the Northeast region.
